Alianza Lima participated in the Noche Blanquiazul 2026 volleyball tournament, where they were scheduled to face Brazil’s EC Pinheiros in the final match at the Polideportivo Lucha Fuentes. Following a victory against Boca Juniors, the team, led by Alejandro Schneider, aimed to secure the international quadrangular title as preparation for the upcoming season and their second consecutive appearance in the Club World Championship. Following this tournament, Alianza Lima began its campaign in the 2026-27 Liga Peruana de Vóley. In their opening match against Rebaza Acosta at the Polideportivo Lucha Fuentes, the three-time defending champions secured a 3-2 win to start their league campaign. In the second round of the league, the women's volleyball team, also led by Alejandro Schneider, was scheduled to compete against Regatas Lima. Alianza Lima subsequently secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Regatas Lima in a five-set match. Allison Holland earned MVP honors for the performance, and the win placed Alianza Lima at the top of the standings with four points, ahead of Regatas Lima and Atlético Atenea. In the football Torneo Clausura 2026, Alianza Lima secured a 1-0 victory against CD Moquegua during matchday 13. Alan Cantero scored the decisive header in the 87th minute following a cross from Jairo Vélez, a goal confirmed after a VAR review. Despite injuries to Esteban Pavez, Mateo Antoni, and Paolo Guerrero, the win extended Alianza Lima’s winning streak to four consecutive matches in the tournament. The team reached 25 points in 13 matches, placing them fifth in the standings and three points behind leader Sport Huancayo.
