Alix Earle reading habits controversy

Overview

Influencer Alix Earle drew social media attention after stating during an Interview Magazine Q&A that she has “never read a book,” later suggesting she may have read works by Dr. Seuss.

The comments triggered a debate regarding literacy and attention spans in the United States. In response to the backlash, ‘Today’ show co-host Jenna Bush Hager proposed a reading syllabus for Earle, recommending ‘The Baby-Sitter’s Club’ series by Ann M.
