Alpha Bank has initiated a strategic transformation, marked by the unveiling of a new corporate identity under the theme ‘Defining a New Together’. This rebranding follows a six-year period of evolution, shifting the institution from traditional lending toward a broader ecosystem of services, including wealth management, investment banking, and insurance. Building on this transformation, the bank is expanding its regional footprint. Following the acquisition of AstroBank and partnerships with insurance providers, leadership conducted a strategic visit to Nicosia to reinforce the group’s presence in the Cypriot market and engage with local institutional figures and the business community. During this visit, Chairman Dimitris Tsitsiragos and CEO Vassilios Psaltis met with the Archbishop of Cyprus, the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, and various business leaders to discuss investment opportunities and economic prospects. In conjunction with its rebranding efforts, the bank is developing the Alpha Bank Campus in central Athens. The project will integrate historical and modern buildings within a block bounded by Stadiou, Panepistimiou, Korai, and Pesmazoglou streets, aiming to support contemporary operations while preserving the city’s architectural heritage. The new corporate identity, set for launch in 2026, features a redesigned logo inspired by the silver stater of Aegina, a symbol used by the institution since 1972.
