Alpha TV continues to expand its drama slate with several original Greek productions. The romance-mystery series Για Σένα (For You) focuses on the intertwined lives of the Eleftheriou and Iliadi families. The Eleftheriou family is characterized by dignity, solidarity, and love as they navigate daily hardships. Tasos Giannopoulos stars as Kostas Eleftheriou, a hardworking patriarch, while Maria Parasiri portrays his wife, Athina, the family’s emotional heart. Their children include Melina (Eirini Angelopoulou), a woman with a strong sense of justice; Markos (Nikos Milias), ~~who faces~~ a principled middle son facing a difficult romance involving an abusive marriage; and Margarita (Alexandra Kolaiti), the ambitious youngest sister. The central romance between Melina and businessman Filippos Iliadis (Kimon Kouris) is tested by family conflicts and secrets. Their meeting, triggered by a truth that dismantles Filippos's life, sets off a chain of events impacting the surrounding community. The series features an ensemble cast of fifteen characters exploring themes of morality and the consequences of personal choices. Maria Tzopanaky portrays Elena Iliadi, a protective mother of three—Michalis, Haris, and Filippos—who strives to maintain family unity. New character details reveal Michalis Iliadis (Nikos Poursanidis) as an introverted, sensitive man, and Valeria Apostolou (Ioivi Fragkatoumas) as an ambitious woman. Additionally, Anna Magou plays Alexandra Ralli, a character with a hidden identity. Tzopanaky has described the series' core themes as ‘love and forgiveness’. Regarding The Daughters of Virtue (also referred to as Oi Koras of Areti), the series is set to debut this autumn. Produced by Pedio Productions, the show secured a €2,112,000 subsidy from the Greek Film Centre (EKCO). The story follows Areté (Marianna Toumasatou), a widowed mother determined to lift her daughters out of poverty by bringing them into the powerful Kechagia household. Marianna Pourega has joined the cast as Jenny, a manipulative woman intent on protecting her family status. Alpha TV has also confirmed the broadcast of Rififi, a six-episode crime mini-series directed by Soteris Tsafoulis and written by Vasilis Risvas and Dimitra Sakali.
