Amazon Japan 2026 Summer ~~Promotional Events~~ and Late-Season Promotions

Amazon’s 2026 promotional cycle in Japan featured a series of high-discount events, beginning with the Smile Sale (May 27 – June 2) which offered reductions on household goods and electronics. This was followed by a summer Kindle manga and publishing sale through July 13. In late June, daily Time Sales focused on athletic footwear and outdoor gear. The major Prime Day event ran from July 10 to 13, preceded by an early-sale period starting July 7. Prime Day highlights included significant discounts on Amazon devices, gaming peripherals, and consumer electronics. Following Prime Day, Amazon sustained momentum through daily Time Sales in late July and the “Life-Support Summer Sale” in early August, which featured discounts on Elecom peripherals and New Balance footwear. By mid-August, sales focused on charging and power management accessories from brands like UGREEN and Elecom, as well as EcoFlow mobile batteries and Yamazaki Jitsugyo home goods. In late August and early September, the promotional cycle continued with a Smile Sale running through September 3. This event offered discounts on Dell laptops and monitors, LG and IODATA gaming displays, Anker chargers, and creative peripherals from TourBox and Elgato. Lifestyle and outdoor items, including THE NORTH FACE apparel and Iwatani gas hot plates, were also featured.
