Amazon announced a new documentary series on its Prime platform that will focus on former First Lady Melania Trump. The series, slated for an autumn release, is promoted by Real America's America’s Voice senior adviser Marc Beckman and will cover the early months of Donald Trump’s second presidential term, highlighting Melania’s private life and humanitarian work. Beckman described the project as offering a ‘completely different look’ and a ‘full new experience for viewers.’ However, the announcement has already drawn criticism on social media and from commentators such as Claire Guinan, who mocked the follow-up production. The launch follows Amazon MGM Studios’ earlier feature documentary "Melania," ‘Melania,’ which incurred a substantial financial loss. Amazon paid $40 million for the film’s rights and an additional $35 million on marketing, with $28 million of the production cost paid directly to the former first lady. The film earned only $16.6 million worldwide against a $75 million budget, generating $10.71 million in licensing revenue for the Trump family. Founder Jeff Bezos defended the investment as a sound business decision and insisted the partnership was non‑partisan. The new docuseries is presented as a fresh look at Melania’s world, aiming to attract viewers with previously unseen aspects of her life and charitable activities.
