Amazon has rebranded its Kindle Unlimited subscription service to Kindle+. The transition includes a new logo and design intended to improve user experience while ensuring all existing user data, such as reading history and bookmarks, remains synchronized. A primary component of the rebranding is the expansion of the service to include audiobooks. audiobooks, comics, manga, and magazines. In the United States, subscribers can access thousands of additional audiobooks at no extra cost, including titles featuring ‘Virtual Voice,’ an AI-driven narration tool that allows authors to convert ebooks into audiobooks. The rollout of audiobook features varies by region. While the service rebranding is available internationally under the new name, global, audiobook access is currently limited restricted to subscribers residing in the United States, with plans to expand to other markets in the future. In the United Kingdom, the service has transitioned to the Kindle+ name, but audiobook access is excluded from the current monthly plan. In Germany, the monthly price remains unchanged at 11.75 euros. Existing subscribers will see their accounts transition automatically to Kindle+ without requiring any action, new sign-ups, or changes to payment methods and billing cycles. The service continues to allow users to borrow up to 20 titles simultaneously.
