In preparation for the 2026 General Elections, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Amazonas (MPAM) implemented enhanced oversight measures to ensure transparency. The agency focused on preventing the misuse of administrative power and established channels for citizens to report irregularities, specifically targeting the use of state resources to benefit political candidates. Following these measures, the state recorded 127 reports of alleged electoral irregularities through the Pardal app. app, a tool created by the Electoral Justice system to allow citizens to report illegal campaign propaganda. The majority of these reports originated in the capital, Manaus, with the most frequent complaints involving internet propaganda, issues on private property, and the use of mobile sound systems. On a national level, the Pardal app has totaled 11,128 occurrences, with São Paulo, Bahia, and Pernambuco leading the country in the number of reports filed. Common national complaints include irregularities on public roads and illegal internet advertising.
