The Amazonas State Court of Accounts (TCE-AM) continues to advance its internal management and public oversight initiatives. Regarding its administrative functions, the institution has finalized the selection process for its second Legal and Accounting Residency Program (PRJeC). Following the release of preliminary discursive exam results, the Court published the final results in its Electronic Official Gazette, listing 126 approved candidates: 105 in the legal field and 21 in the accounting field. The program provides 30 total vacancies—20 in law and 10 in accounting—with a 25-hour weekly workload. President Yara Amazônia Lins noted the process is a vital step for professional development, allowing participants to gain practical experience within the Court. Approved candidates are now instructed to monitor the TCE-AM website and the Official Gazette for enrollment and entry procedures. In its modernization and institutional efforts, TCE-AM is actively working to integrate the ‘SEI Federação’ system with several state agencies, including the Court of Justice of Amazonas (TJAM), the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPAM), the State Public Defender's Office (DPE-AM), and the Amazonas Development Agency (Afeam). This functionality of the Electronic Information System (SEI) allows administrative documents to be sent directly between institutions, with all movements recorded within the electronic process. TCE-AM already utilizes this system with the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF4) and the Court of Accounts of Roraima (TCE-RR). President Lins stated the this integration aims to make administration “more agile, secure, and efficient.” Additionally, Lins has held institutional meetings in Manaus with state secretaries, including the Secretary of Administration and Management, Robson Togni de Almeida, and the Secretary of Environment, Miqueias Santos de Souza, to discuss management and environmental policies and facilitate information exchange. In its social oversight role, the ‘TCE Pela Educação’ program has transitioned into an intervention phase across 59 municipalities. Following a technical journey, program Program coordinator Luis Fabian Barbosa reported that 93% of the 3,593 eligible municipal schools are already developing or executing action plans to improve resource management and learning outcomes.
