Cultural events highlighting Amazonian identity and regional voices continue across various locations. In Portugal, the fifth edition of the “Todos São Palco – Mostra de Teatro Além do Equador” theater festival is scheduled to tour 13 cities from September 17 to October 17. The programming includes approximately 100 book launches, workshops, and lectures by authors such as Jeferson Tenório, Socorro Acioli, and Raphael Montes, honoring the writer Humberto de Campos as patron. The 28th São Paulo International Book Biennial at Distrito Anhembi concluded with a record-breaking 760,000 visitors, surpassing the 722,000 recorded in 2024. The event featured 269 exhibitors and 800 authors. Economic indicators were positive, with exhibitors reporting an average daily revenue increase of 57% compared to the previous biennial. Manga emerged as a significant growth driver; for instance, the JBC imprint within Grupo Companhia das Letras saw a 67% increase in revenue and a 55% increase in copies sold compared to 2024.
