Universal Music and Island Records have announced released a special 20th-anniversary reissue edition of Amy Winehouse’s second and final studio album, ‘Back to Black’, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. Black’. The reissue, which commemorates both the two-decade milestone of the record and the 15th anniversary of the singer's passing, is available in various formats including a three-CD set and a three-LP vinyl edition. Titled ‘Back to Black 20’, the collection features the original tracks alongside archival material including such as four previously unreleased demos, rare B-sides, and a complete 14-song live recording from the Paradiso in Amsterdam dated February 8, 2007. Physical editions include new artwork and handwritten lyrics from the artist's archives. To celebrate, the Amy Winehouse Band, led by musical director Dale Davis, will embark embarked on an expanded UK tour exceeding 50 dates, concluding at the London Roundhouse on December 18, 2026. Commemorative events have also been scheduled in Santiago, Chile, for November 5 at the Teatro CA660, featuring Chilean singer Francia Valdés. A centerpiece of the anniversary was a special one-night-only tribute concert held at the London Roundhouse on October 21. Curated by original producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, the event featured the Amy Winehouse Band alongside guest vocalists such as including Corinne Bailey Rae, Jorja Smith, Jessie Reyez, Lianne La Havas, and Yebba. The performers played all 11 tracks from the 2006 album, which has sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The concert is scheduled for broadcast on BBC Two, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Radio 2. Additionally, a previously unpublished interview from May 2007, conducted by Ariel Levy at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, has been released. In it, Winehouse reflected on her fame and legacy, stating, ‘If I die tomorrow – then so be it’.
