Universal Music and Island Records have announced a 20th-anniversary reissue of Amy Winehouse’s second and final studio album, ‘Back to Black’, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. Titled ‘Back to Black 20’, the commemorative collection will be available in multiple formats, including triple CD sets, digital deluxe versions, and various vinyl editions such as a deluxe three-LP transparent version and an exclusive Zoetrope image disc. The reissue is set to will include significant archival material, such as material: four previously unreleased demos, rare B-sides, and alternative versions of tracks like ‘Rehab’ and ‘Some Unholy War’. A central feature is a complete recording of a 14-song live performance at recording from the Paradiso in Amsterdam from Amsterdam, dated February 8, 2007. Additional content will feature includes new liner notes and commentary from producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, alongside unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, and handwritten lyrics from the artist’s archives. To complement the release, the Amy Winehouse Band has announced an expanded UK tour featuring musicians who previously toured and recorded with the singer. Led by musical director and bass player Dale Davis, the ensemble will perform the ‘Back to Black’ album in its entirety alongside other tracks from Winehouse’s catalogue. The tour, which includes over 50 dates across the UK, will run through October, November, and December 2026, with some performances extending into March 2027. The run is scheduled to conclude at the London Roundhouse on December 18.
