Angelique Kerber retirement and personal life

Overview

Former professional tennis player Angelique Kerber has transitioned into life after sport following her retirement. In recent reflections, Kerber described her retirement as a feeling that a “chapter is closing,” noting her final official match at the Olympic Games quarterfinals in Paris as a career milestone. She also expressed gratitude for a farewell match in Bad Homburg against Ana Ivanovic, which featured messages from various tennis legends.

Following her official retirement in June, reports indicate that Kerber is set to marry entrepreneur Franco Bianco. The couple, who have been linked since 2018 and share two children, are expected to hold a wedding that may be attended by several prominent figures from the tennis community.
