The 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, scheduled for October 24–31, 2026, has expanded its programming and jury details. In the National Feature Film competition, 12 films will compete for awards across 16 categories, including Best Director, Best Screenplay, and various acting honors. Derviş Zaim will serve as the jury president. All selected films in this category will make their Turkish premieres, with eight films set to hold their world premieres in Antalya. The festival provides 11 million TL in total prize support, with the Best Film award in the National Feature Film competition valued at 5 million TL. The International Feature Film category includes 13 films, such as Andrey Zvyagintsev’s ‘Minotaur – Minotor’. Additionally, Andreas Sinanos, a member of the festival European Film Academy and the French Society of Cinematographers, has announced been appointed as the jury Jury President for its Cinema Schools Student Film Competition. this category. Selections for the National Short Film and National Documentary Film competitions have also been confirmed, with 10 entries in each category. In the documentary category, nine of the ten films are scheduled to make their world premieres, while seven of the ten short films will also debut globally during the event. Recent updates include the announcement of finalists for the third Cinema Schools Student Film Competition. From 70 applications across 48 Turkish universities, 12 projects have reached the final stage. Winners of the Best Film award will receive the Golden Orange statuette. The international program will also feature a special section titled ‘Roots, Light, and Camera!’, showcasing films from creators working amidst war and occupation. This selection includes works from Iran, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Palestine, such as Gleb Feldman’s ‘Another Day in the Metal Box’, Babak Khajehpasha’s ‘The Land of Angels’, and Annemarie Jacir’s ‘Palestine 36’.
