Anton Harrison knee injury and surgery

Overview

Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee following an injury sustained during a Week 5 victory. Initial reports suggested a recovery period of three to five weeks, though there was concern the injury could sideline him for several months.

Subsequent medical evaluations following the surgery confirmed a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). As a result, Harrison will miss the remainder of the 2026 season. Walker Little is expected to continue as the starting left tackle in his absence.

The loss of Harrison, who moved from right tackle to left tackle this season to bolster the run game, presents a long-term roster challenge for the Jaguars. While the team has maintained a lead in the AFC South, the injury highlights a critical need to develop or draft a young tackle to secure the position heading into the 2027 offseason.
