The Anytime Fitness gym franchise is expanding continues to expand and modernize its presence in Japan through facility renewals and new location openings. In mid-August 2026, the Anytime Fitness Kawaguchi location in Saitama Prefecture officially reopened following a renewal. Following this, the brand announced further expansion in the Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures. This includes prefectures, including the opening of the Atsugi Hayashi branch in Kanagawa on August 20, 2026, and the scheduled opening of a Higashi-Matsudo location in Chiba on September 8, 2026. On August 27, 2026, the Anytime Fitness Nishidai location in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, also officially reopened after a facility renewal to support local residents.
