The Asociación de Pádel Centro de Entre Ríos (APCER) organized a series of padel competitions in Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina. Following a successful third qualifying tournament that hosted over 190 couples, the organization moved toward its provincial championship. The provincial tournament, scheduled for August 21 to 23, saw a record registration of 283 pairs competing across 11 male and female categories. Participants utilized 22 courts across eight different complexes, with competitors seeking qualification for the National Championship in La Plata. The Provincial Padel Tournament has officially commenced with this record participation. To support the event, the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay provided financial assistance to APCER following meetings between the association’s board and local officials, including Mayor José Lauritto and Secretary of Culture, Tourism, and Sports Sergio Richard. APCER President Mauro Battilana highlighted the regional growth of the sport, noting that approximately 400 people play padel daily in the city. The competition utilizes facilities at Oeste Pádel, La Toska, Miami, Locos por el Pádel, Locos Bulevar, Acapulco, Cedels, and Club Juventud de Caseros.
