Discounts on Apple hardware have expanded globally across various chip generations. Following initial post-Prime Day reductions, Amazon Japan launched its ‘Kurashi Ouen Natsumatsuri Sale’, offering approximately 15% off M5 MacBook Air models and price cuts on M5 MacBook Pro models. By late August 2026, Amazon implemented further reductions, including a 17 percent discount on the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air. In late September 2026, early fall Prime Day sales introduced further reductions, including up to $150 off M5 MacBook Air models and a $900 reduction on a 16-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro. By October 2026, retail discounts extended to the M6 chip line. Major retailers such as Amazon, B&H, and Boulanger are offering significant price reductions. The M6 Mac mini (16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) has reached lows near $779 on Amazon and approximately 948 euros in Germany. Leading up to and following Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days in October, discounts expanded to include the seventh-generation iPad mini, which saw a $100 reduction, and the M4 iPad Air, which dropped by over $300. Audio products also saw cuts, with AirPods Pro 3 dropping to $179 and AirPods Max 2 discounted by $120. M5-series hardware continues to see deep cuts. Amazon has offered up to $430 off 14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro models and $900 off 16-inch M5 Max configurations. B&H has also reduced prices on the M5 Max Mac Studio by up to $220. Late October saw further price drops on 13-inch M5 MacBook Air models, with some configurations returning to levels seen earlier in the month. By late October 2026, M5-series MacBook discounts intensified. B&H offered $500 off select 16-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro configurations, with prices starting at $3,899 for models with 2TB SSDs.
