Apple TV release of ‘Where’s Wanda?’ season 2

Overview

Apple TV has announced the release details for the second season of the German-language dark comedy series ‘Where’s Wanda?’. The eight-episode season is scheduled to premiere on October 21, 2026, with new episodes airing weekly through December 9.

Set one year after the events of the first season, the plot follows the Klatt family as they attempt to return to normalcy, only to have their peace disrupted when Wanda is found standing over a dead body. To prove her innocence, the family must investigate the criminal underbelly and local secrets of their suburban town.

The season is produced by UFA Fiction and directed by Tobi Baumann and Christian Ditter. The cast features returning actors Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, and Leo Simon, joined by new additions Sam Riley, Alexandra Maria Lara, and Palina Rojinski.

In late September 2026, Apple TV released a trailer for the upcoming season. Following the scheduled release date of October 21, the second season has officially premiered on the platform. The new episodes continue to follow Carlotta and Dedo Klatt as they navigate a criminal network within their community to protect Wanda.

On October 23, 2026, Apple TV+ released a new clip from the season. The clip previews the second episode, titled ‘Tuesday’, in which the Klatt family continues their amateur detective work by investigating a local beauty salon owner.
