Archipelago Hotels is expanding its presence in Indonesia to accommodate rising tourism demand. Following a 5.71% increase in foreign tourist arrivals in the first half of 2026 and significant growth in the accommodation and food service sector, the company is introducing five properties across Java and Sumatra through new openings and rebrandings. These properties, including the Aston Cimone Hotel & Convention Center and Center, Aston Malang Hotel & Conference Center, Nawana by Alana, fave+ hotel Lampung, and fave+ hotel Pamanukan, are designed to serve business, leisure, and MICE travelers. CEO John Flood indicated that the expansion focuses on meeting market needs for quality, comfort, and unique experiences. To further address evolving market trends, the company has expanded wellness facilities across 77 of its properties throughout Indonesia and Southeast Asia, aiming to capture the growing wellness tourism segment.
