Ardon Jashari playing time at AC Milan

Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari has struggled to secure a consistent role at AC Milan following his transfer from Club Brugge. Initially reported as having played only 153 minutes under manager Ruben Amorim, Jashari faced competition for playing time from veteran Luka Modric.

By October, Jashari’s involvement in Serie A totaled 14 matches and 700 minutes, with only one assist recorded. While his club opportunities remained limited, he saw some action in the Champions League against Benfica and has maintained success with the Swiss national team.

Following his summer 2025 transfer for approximately 36 million euros, Jashari’s struggle for minutes continued into the 2026 season, where he recorded only 18 percent of available playing time in Serie A. However, he has sought to revitalize his career through strong performances with the Swiss national team during Nations League matches against North Macedonia, Scotland, and Slovenia. This international momentum is viewed as a way to regain the rhythm and confidence needed to compete for a position under manager Paulo Amorim during Milan’s upcoming dense fixture schedule.

Recent developments suggest a shift in Jashari's integration. Following a 2-0 victory over Udinese, Jashari reported that increased playing time has boosted his confidence and aided his professional growth. He highlighted a strong tactical connection with Luka Modric, noting an intuitive understanding where they effectively cover each other's movements. Jashari also credited Ruben Amorim for his support, stating the manager's familiarity with his playing style has been instrumental to his integration.
