Spagnuolo’s legal defense has contested the authenticity of the recordings, asserting they are fake and have been manipulated using artificial intelligence, citing the presence of ‘18 micro-cuts.’ His lawyer, Mauricio D’Alessandro, contends the recordings are part of an intelligence operation.
