Specific examples include an aortic endoprosthesis costing 369.8 million pesos against a market reference of 17.85 million pesos, and a transcatheter bicaval valve system purchased for 425 million pesos compared to 124.2 million pesos paid by PAMI. Vilches identified nine specific providers—including Farma Salud SRL, Indecomm, Droguería Floresta, Neurosalud, Ortopedia Bernat SRL, Artrobone Ortopedia SA, Cirugía y Ortopedia Imnova SA, Bymax Medical SRL, and Expo Trauma SA—that collectively invoiced the state for more than $25 billion pesos.
