In October 2026, the Agency of Collection and Customs Control (ARCA) and the National Commission for Domestic Work (CNTCP) released updated mandatory minimum salary scales for domestic workers in Argentina. These scales, established Argentina via Resolution 6/2026, covered various categories including general cleaning, caregiving, and supervision. Following the October updates, the National Commission for Domestic Work (CNTCP) announced further adjustments for November 2026. 6/2026. The October increase update included a 1.7% rise and the integration of a non-remunerative bonus. For general tasks, hourly rates were set at $4,064.08 for stay-out workers and $4,337.53 for live-in arrangements. The November 2026 update scheduled a 1.6% increase across all categories, marking completing the final stage integration of incorporating the remaining 25% of the previously established non-remunerative sum into basic salaries. Under this scale, general task workers' hourly rates rose to $4,170.52 for stay-out and $4,571.91 for live-in arrangements, with monthly minimums established at $511,639.37 and $578,062.16, respectively. To assist with these adjustments, ARCA launched ‘Recibo Asistido’ under General Resolution 5912/2026. This digital tool is designed to help employers calculate salary settlements automatically based on registered data. Although the system provides preliminary settlements, the legal responsibility for the accuracy of payments and contributions remains with the employer.
