Argentina has secured authorization to export citrus products to Panama, following a phytosanitary agreement between Argentina’s National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) and Panama’s Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA). The agreement, which includes requirements for fresh or refrigerated lemons, mandarins, oranges, and grapefruits, has been officially published in Panama’s Official Gazette. Technical negotiations for this access have been ongoing since 2019.
