In mid‑July 2026 the Entre Ríos Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure launched a 35 million‑peso renovation of Victoriano Montes Primary School in Gualeguay and moved ahead with tenders for schools in Olavarría, El Ramblón and Chajarí, covering water, gas, electrical and safety upgrades for hundreds of pupils. Later in July the province of San Luis announced a more than US$719 million programme to replace the roof of the University Provincial of Trades (UPrO) in Quines. The Entre Ríos ministry also earmarked over 40 million pesos for additional repairs at the Unidad Educativa “El Principito” in Chajarí, while the city of Paraná began a 32 million‑peso renovation of school Nº 64 Justo José de Urquiza. In Buenos Aires, the historic Primera Junta school will receive structural consolidation and façade restoration. A joint announcement on 25 July referenced these Argentine projects as part of a broader Latin‑American public‑works effort that also included school‑building programmes in Mexico and hospital upgrades in Honduras, underscoring the regional focus on safety and learning environments. On 28 July the Buenos Aires City Government reported that, during June and July, infrastructure works were completed in twelve schools across nine comunas, encompassing painting, façade restoration, waterproofing, electrical, sanitary, gas, fire‑protection and climate systems, as well as new laboratories, sports areas and accessibility upgrades. Three additional schools in Balvanera, San Cristóbal and Boedo received similar improvements. The city’s school‑renovation programme, now totaling more than 6,000 interventions, continues to modernise facilities for thousands of students. In parallel, provincial authorities reported further investments: Governor Alfredo Cornejo of Mendoza inspected the Palmira sports complex, a new multi‑sport facility financed under the National Educational Financing Law, featuring a covered arena for 1,130 spectators, an athletics track, football field and other courts.
