Argentine cultural and musical events

The cultural landscape in Argentina features a variety of theatrical and musical activities. In late September, several theatrical productions were scheduled across various venues, including ‘Historias a la Carta 2: Más del amor y otras Hierbas’, ‘Yo vi morder al fuego, la casa del jaguar’, ‘La Gesta de las Viejas’, ‘Toda esta mi mierda soy yo’, ‘Soy Dios en mi interior’, and ‘Las canciones que no sonarán para nosotros’. During this period, singer Martín Ricca also released the single ‘Amor a la Antigua’, a collaboration with Ivanko that blends romanticism with northern cumbia.

By mid-October, the focus shifted toward musical performances. Scheduled events included a chamber music concert on October 21 featuring violinist Josefina Martin and pianist Emiliano Rivarola, and the commencement of the ‘Club House en Concierto’ series on December 12 at Chapelco Golf & Resort, featuring pianist Emilio Peroni.

Recent programming includes ‘Semana Charly’ at the Usina del Arte, a three-day series of free concerts celebrating the 75th anniversary of rock musician Charly García. In Jujuy, the Orquesta Sinfónica is set to perform ‘Poéticas del Espíritu’ with violinist Sebastián Ortega. Other regional musical activities include a chamber music concert by the Moldavsky-Politi duo in Zárate and a piano cycle at Chapelco Golf & Resort. Additionally, young flautist Delfina Díaz Brau recently performed at the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires.
