Additionally, the sudden illness of one of the President’s dogs has led to suspicions of an attempted poisoning. The reshuffle has also drawn scrutiny regarding alleged nepotism within the General Secretariat of Planning involving associates of Karina Milei, and concerns from Deputy Marcela Pagano regarding recent bidding processes. The state workers' union, ATE, has expressed strong opposition, declaring a state of alert and threatening industrial action.
