Major Argentine rock artists have announced continue to hold various tour dates and commemorative performances across the country. Singer-songwriter Iván Noble scheduled intimate shows in Resistencia and Corrientes for early August as part of his ‘Canciones traspapeladas’ tour. Simultaneously, the hard-rock trio La Renga added dates in Cosquín and Mendoza to their ‘Totalmente Poseídos’ tour following international performances. Subsequent announcements confirmed La Renga’s return to Cosquín on October 17 at Plaza Próspero Molina. Local officials anticipate approximately 16,000 spectators, which is expected to boost regional tourism. Additionally, the band Bersuit Vergarabat announced a performance in Neuquén on October 22 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album ‘Hijos del Culo’. La Renga’s national tour is also expected to drive significant economic activity. A performance in Jujuy is projected to draw approximately 15,000 fans, generating an estimated $5 million impact for local tourism and service sectors. In Cosquín, officials anticipate 16,000 spectators and full hotel occupancy. Other scheduled cultural events include the metal band A.N.I.M.A.L. celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album ‘El nuevo camino del hombre’ in San Luis, and the ‘Aires de Canto’ vocal music festival in the Capital, featuring choral groups from Santiago del Estero, Córdoba, and Salta. Recent performances include Las Pastillas del Abuelo in Salta at La Roka, where the band played new songs such as ‘Excusa’, ‘Una contra otra’, and ‘Tarot’, alongside tributes to Diego Maradona and Indio Solari. Additionally, the live documentary ‘Una Obra Redonda’, which commemorates the history of Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota, is launching a ‘Gira por el Conurbano Redondo’ to mark its fifth anniversary. Following a sold-out show in San Telmo, the production will tour Greater Buenos Aires, including San Miguel, Lomas de Zamora, and Martínez, featuring a live band and over 15 artists.
