The Torneo Federal A tournament has seen significant results regarding promotion and advancement. San Martín de Formosa achieved a historic promotion to Argentina’s second division, Primera Nacional, following a 2-0 victory over Cipolletti in the final. The match, held at the Sportivo Belgrano stadium in San Francisco, Córdoba, featured a header from Ricardo Tapia following a free kick and a second goal from Dylan Leiva. This win marks the first time a team from the Formosa province has reached the Primera Nacional. While San Martín celebrates its ascent, Cipolletti retains a chance to promote through the Reválida tournament. In the Reválida tournament, Sarmiento de La Banda has advanced to the quarterfinals after securing a 5-4 aggregate victory over Sportivo Atenas de Río Cuarto, despite a 4-2 loss in the second leg. Sarmiento is scheduled to face Alvarado de Mar del Plata in November.
