Aris BC has begun preparations for the upcoming season, focusing on new signings such as Kem Birch, Adam Mokoka, and Jaylen Hands. The club has set goals to use the EuroCup as a route back to the EuroLeague. However, the team has faced roster challenges due to injuries and absences, including Vasilis Charalampopoulos, Adam Mokoka, Stefan Jovic, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Stelios Poulianitis, and Giorgos Tanoulis. In their EuroCup debut at the newly renovated Nick Galis Hall, Aris Thessaloniki secured a 93-80 victory against Spanish side San Pablo Burgos. While the team established a dominant 53-30 halftime lead, Coach Vassilis Spanoulis noted that the team allowed 16 offensive rebounds and needed to improve second-half game management. Player AJ Lintell described the fan support as an ‘unforgettable experience’. Transitioning to domestic competition, Aris secured their first victory of the Greek Basketball League season with a dominant 88-58 win over AEK ~~Athens.~~ Athens at Alexandrio Hall. Following a previous loss to Karditsa, Aris utilized high-intensity defense and efficient ball movement, recording 22 assists and 10 steals to secure the win in the second round of the league. Matt Morgan led the scoring with 25 points, including six three-pointers, supported by Jeremiah Robinson-Earl’s 15 points and Kostas Antetokounmpo’s 10 points. Coach Spanoulis praised the team’s ‘zeal and defensive work,’ while AEK coach Dragan Sakota noted his team lacked readiness and played at a different speed.
