Arkadiusz Milik’s status at Juventus has fluctuated between official inclusion and potential departure. Although the club recently confirmed Milik as part of the squad, assigning him the number 14, his availability has been subject to speculation regarding health concerns and roster management. Recent reports indicate that Milik may be approaching a departure from the club, with interest emerging from the United Arab Emirates Pro League. An intermediary has reportedly contacted both Juventus and the player’s representatives to explore a transfer before the UAE window closes on September 28. Currently, Milik is considered surplus to technical requirements and has been excluded from the Serie A squad. To mitigate the financial impact of his 1.8 million euro net annual salary, Juventus may be willing to facilitate a move for free or for minimal compensation, potentially under one million euros. While previous attempts at an early contract termination were unsuccessful, a move to the UAE could allow the 32-year-old striker to maintain his current salary under a new two-year contract. His current contract is set to expire on June 30. Adding to his professional uncertainty, Milik has not been registered for Serie A or the Europa League, leaving his future in doubt. While a return to the Polish Ekstraklasa—specifically to Górnik Zabrze, where his brother serves as sporting director—has been discussed, reports suggest Milik is uninterested in returning to the Polish league. His professional challenges have been compounded by persistent physical issues. Milik has missed a total of 735 days due to injuries during his tenure with the Turin-based club, including a completely blank 2024-2025 season. During the 2025-2026 period, he has played only 34 minutes across two matches before suffering another muscle injury, marking his tenth such injury since joining the club.
