Arthur's tenure at Santos FC
Overview
Following his departure from Juventus, Brazilian midfielder Arthur joined Santos with a contract lasting until December 31, 2026. His arrival coincided with a period of success for the club, including three consecutive victories that moved Santos to tenth place in the league standings and a 2-0 win in the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals.
However, Arthur’s momentum was interrupted by a grade 2 injury in his right thigh sustained during a match against São Paulo. The injury is expected to sideline him for at least four weeks, potentially causing him to miss up to six matches in the Campeonato Brasileiro. His anticipated return to action is projected for the week of November 18.
