Asian tiger mosquito spread and monitoring

Overview

The invasive Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, has been identified in multiple global locations. In Guimarães, Portugal, health authorities detected the species and reinforced entomological surveillance to monitor its establishment.
