PT Astra International Tbk reported a third quarter 2026 profit of Rp21.60 trillion, marking an 11.73% year-on-year decrease from the Rp24.47 trillion recorded in the same period the previous year. Despite the drop in profit, net revenue saw a marginal increase of 0.10% to Rp243.9 trillion. During the same period, subsidiary PT Astra Otoparts Tbk reported a net profit of Rp1.80 trillion, which was a 14.7% increase compared to the previous year. Astra Otoparts also experienced a 15.0% growth in net revenue, reaching Rp17.02 trillion, driven by demand in manufacturing and trading segments. For the first nine months of 2026, the company recorded consolidated net revenue of Rp243.9 trillion, compared to Rp243.6 trillion during the same period the previous year. Net profit excluding non-recurring items was Rp24.6 trillion, a slight decrease of approximately one percent year-on-year, while earnings per share excluding non-recurring items rose by one percent to Rp616. However, including non-recurring items, net profit fell 12 percent to Rp21.6 trillion, primarily due to impairment and fair value adjustments on equity investments. President Director Rudy stated that the company’s performance remains resilient despite business challenges. Results were supported by growth in the automotive and financial services sectors, as well as a recovery in mining activities, including increased mining contract volumes and the resumption of production at the Martabe gold mine.
