In Soria, the 41st Ciudad de Soria Half Marathon recorded 1,200 registrants and 525 finishers, utilizing a new course designed to reduce urban disruption. Following this, the 20th Quijote Marathon in Ciudad Real reported record-breaking turnout with approximately 1,670 to 1,700 participants. This event included the 30th Castilla-La Mancha Absolute and Master Marathon Championship and featured a modified, flatter, and wider circuit approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation to improve competitive times. The 30th edition of the Quijote Maratón in Ciudad Real attracted approximately 1,700 runners across three distances: the marathon, half marathon, and 10,000 meters. This year's event utilized a redesigned, more urban route intended to facilitate faster times and increase city visibility. In the women's marathon, Gemma Arenas secured her tenth victory in the competition, setting a new personal record with a time of 2:41:59. Mayte Tapiador and Ana Belén Muñoz finished in second and third place. In the men's marathon, Juan Vidal claimed first place with a time of 2:28:05.
