Authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are investigating an attempted murder following an incident at traditional horse races in the village of Bijeljani near Bileća. Suspect Željko Vujović is accused of using an Audi Q7 to intentionally strike multiple people following a dispute in which he allegedly threw tables and chairs at a group of youths. Vujović, who has an extensive criminal history including seven final convictions for offenses such as arson and weapons possession, has been handed over to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje. He is charged with attempting to deprive multiple persons of their lives through reckless behavior using a passenger motor vehicle. Four young men were struck by the vehicle; while three sustained minor injuries, one victim remains in intensive care in stable condition. Investigations have led to the arrest of three accomplices. Mirko Samardžić is suspected of assisting Vujović. Goran Čubrilo is accused of aiding the perpetrator by transporting Vujović and Samardžić to a different location after the vehicle was abandoned. Marija Ivković is suspected of obstructing the investigation by allegedly removing and hiding vehicle parts that detached from the Audi used in the collision. Prosecutors allege Samardžić helped Vujović avoid detection by arranging transportation to move the suspects from Bijeljani to ~~prevent~~ Davidovići.
