Streaming platforms are releasing a variety of new films and series throughout August. Early August releases include Prime Video’s YA drama ‘Sterling Point’, the fourth season of ‘Ted Lasso’ on Apple TV+, and Netflix’s ‘My Life With the Walter Boys’ Season 3 and ‘Operation Safed Sagar’. Recent updates include the release of the fourth season of ‘Jack Reacher’ on Amazon Prime Video, which follows the former military police officer through a conspiracy involving corruption and drug trafficking. Netflix has introduced a three-episode docuseries, ‘Conversations with Killers: The Manson Tapes’, covering the rise of Charles Manson and murders committed between 1969 and 1971, while continuing to offer content on Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy. On Disney Plus, the psychological thriller ‘Furiosa’, created by Elizabeth Meriwether, has been added, focusing on an ex-New York police officer involved in murders linked to an exploitation network.
