Austin City Limits music festival and series developments

Overview

The Austin City Limits music festival and series have expanded digital accessibility for performers. Initially, the festival offered livestreams of weekend one performances, including artists such as Charli XCX and Skrillex, through a partnership with Hulu and Disney+.

Following this, the Austin City Limits series announced an exclusive worldwide livestream on YouTube for the Season 52 debut of the band Bleachers. This performance, led by Jack Antonoff, serves as a preview for a future PBS broadcast. These developments occur amidst Austin’s broader evolution from a DIY counterculture center into a major global music industry destination.
