Avast security suite updates

In late July 2026 Avast announced two related product developments. On 21 July the company released a portable utility, Avast Antivirus Clear, that removes all Avast software from Windows PCs when run in safe‑mode, supporting all current product lines. The same announcement introduced the Avast! Premier 2026 suite, a comprehensive security package that bundles antivirus, firewall, sandbox, VPN, virtual desktop and other modules, with options for selective installation and automatic system‑restore.

Five days later, on 26 July, Avast provided guidance for users to continue using the free version of its antivirus by re‑activating the free plan after a premium subscription ends, without needing payment details. Concurrently, the firm launched a limited‑time promotion offering up to 60 % discounts on renewal prices for its security products, covering a range of antivirus, privacy, VPN and optimisation tools across multiple platforms.

Together, these updates show Avast expanding both its toolset for product management and its pricing incentives to retain and attract users across its portfolio.
