Avellino and Ascoli football match preparations

Preparations are underway for a high-stakes football match between Avellino and Ascoli at the Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca.

Avellino fans quickly sold out the 900 available away tickets despite regional purchase restrictions. Following a recent draw against Palermo, Avellino coach Alessandro Nesta characterized the upcoming fixture as the “most difficult” challenge for his squad, citing Ascoli as a dangerous opponent. Avellino enters the match looking to maintain a streak of three positive results.

Ascoli is anticipating a sold-out crowd, supported by its 10,039 season ticket holders. Ascoli coach Francesco Tomei has emphasized the necessity of tactical discipline and patience, noting that Avellino’s squad is capable of exploiting spaces during transitions. Tomei also addressed the return of Lorenzo Venuti to training, noting the player is currently a free agent.

In addition to match preparations, Ascoli has unveiled a new kit designed by Hummel. The jersey features traditional black and white vertical stripes with gold accents and an integrated Hummel chevron. This new kit is scheduled to make its debut during the match against Avellino.
