Spanish singer Rosalía has received multiple high-profile honors for her musical career and her 2025 album, ‘Lux’. In early October 2026, it was announced that she would receive the 2026 Billboard Hall of Fame Award at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami. Billboard and Telemundo cited her “extraordinary career defined by musical innovation, a unique artistic vision, and an influence that has transcended genres, languages, and borders.” Billboard specifically highlighted her ability to reimagine flamenco and noted that ‘Lux’ achieved five number one spots on its charts. In addition to the Hall of Fame honor, she is a finalist for six other awards at the upcoming ceremony. The Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The event will be hosted by Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza. Following the Billboard announcement, the Spanish Ministry of Culture presented her with the 2026 National Award for Contemporary Music. The jury described her work on ‘Lux’ as an “ambitious, innovative and transformative” project that contributes to the global projection of Spanish music through its use of 13 different languages. Rosalía has also emerged as a leading figure for the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2026. She holds six nominations in the Spain category and one in the international category. That ceremony is scheduled for November 20 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
