This landmark agreement elevates their relationship to a strategic partnership and alliance, establishing a long-term political and legal framework based on mutual trust. Both nations pledged not to participate in blocs or allow their territories to be used by third parties to harm the other's security. The treaty expands cooperation into space technologies and digital development, while plans for a dedicated Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Caspian corridor with a single operator aim to enhance regional connectivity.
