AJ Rebollo, guitarist for the metal band Bad Wolves, has announced his departure from the group following disputes with their label, Better Noise Music. The conflict centers on regarding the label’s decision to release of a heavy metal cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’. The track was originally intended to be a collaboration with Parton, who had reportedly approved the arrangement and planned to record guest vocals before her conflict arose after Parton’s death on August 25, 2026. Following her passing, While the band initially opposed the release of the track to avoid appearing as though they were capitalizing on her death.
