Legendary rock bands from the former Yugoslavia are conducting major musical projects and concert series. The Serbian band Smak announced a large-scale concert at the Belgrade Arena for December 2026, with guitarist Radomir Mihajlović Točak expressing a desire to connect with new generations of fans. Simultaneously, the band Zabranjeno pušenje has been performing its ‘Neuštekani’ acoustic project, led by Sejo Sexon, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album ‘Das Ist Walter’. The unplugged tour features acoustic versions of hits and rare tracks such as ‘Pismo Elvisu’, ‘Arizona dream’, and ‘Laku noć, stari’. Following successful sold-out performances in cities including Osijek, Split, Zadar, Ljubljana, and Zagreb, the band released a live album, ‘Uživo u Lisinskom’, to document the tour.
