Recent reports highlight various personal and professional developments among prominent Balkan singers. In personal news, Serbian pop singer Vladan Savić has divorced his wife, Jovana Jocić, after two years of marriage. The couple stated they intend to maintain a “civilized and friendly relationship” for their daughter, Anđelija. Savić has since expressed his emotions through his new song, ‘Krive Drine’. Other singers have shared significant life transitions. Snežana Berić, known as Ekstra Nena, reflected on her seven-day marriage, noting she ended the union quickly due to differing views on the future. Former pop singer Ksenija Mijatović has transitioned into a career as a psychotherapist; following a divorce after a 14-year marriage, she completed psychology studies and relocated to Australia. Additionally, singer Vesna Zmijanac has been noted for her life on her estate at Bukulja, where she spends time with family away from urban environments. Singer Saša Kovačević married his partner, Zorana Tasovac, in June, and the couple is expecting their first child. Singer Željko Samardžić recently reflected on a family tragedy from over two decades ago, revealing that his and his wife Maja’s son, Zlatko, passed away at three and a half months old. Samardžić noted that despite the profound shock, he and Maja have maintained a stable marriage and are now enjoying life with their daughters and extended family. He also mentioned his grandson, Luka Pecelj, who moved to the United States to pursue studies and basketball. On the professional front, Svetlana Ceca Ražnatović made a surprise appearance at a performance by Slađa Allegro at the ‘Dva jelena’ restaurant. Meanwhile, Katarina Grujić announced she will host 50 women from Gračanica at her upcoming solo concert at the MTS Hall in Belgrade on October 23, providing both tickets and transportation.
