BANDAI SPIRITS merchandise announcements

BANDAI SPIRITS has announced several new merchandise lines for various media franchises, including Dragon Ball Z and Kamen Rider Zets.

For the Dragon Ball Z series, the company revealed a new S.H.Figuarts action figure of Vegeta from the Android Cell Saga. The figure utilizes a patented ‘Dynamic-Movable Shoulder System’ for improved articulation and features sculpting designed to replicate the proportions, hair volume, and facial expressions of the original anime. Interchangeable parts include various facial expressions, such as a shouting face and a clenched-teeth expression. Pre-orders for this figure were scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, with a release set for April 2027 at a retail price of 4,400 yen.

Further Dragon Ball themed merchandise and prize figures are scheduled for release starting in September. This lineup includes figures of Goten and Trunks in a fusion scene, Super Saiyan Trunks, and a ‘Match Makers’ series featuring Goku and Grandpa Gohan. Additionally, the Yurakore series will introduce a collection of palm-sized, swaying mascots featuring Son Goku on the Flying Nimbus, Vegeta in a space pod, and Frieza. Reservations for the first Yurakore set begin September 10, 2026, with shipping expected in April 2027. Other upcoming items include themed kitchenware and a scouter-shaped speaker.

For the Kamen Rider Zets series, new items include the DX Ready Gauntlet, featuring LED lights, sound effects, and character dialogue, and the DX Zets Phone ver. 2, an updated handheld device containing over 50 character voices. These items are scheduled for shipment in February 2027.
