For the Asia Cup, Bangladesh is set positioned in Group B alongside defending champions Sri Lanka, the UAE, and Indonesia, with their campaign scheduled to compete begin on August 31. Captain Joty has expressed a goal to break the team’s pattern of being eliminated in the ACC Women’s semi-finals, aiming instead to reach the tournament final. Following the Asia Cup starting August 31 against Indonesia, and Cup, the 20th team will compete in the Asian Games in Nagoya, Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, beginning which is scheduled to take place from September 17. 17 to 22, 2026.
