Actor Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin are the parents of a newborn daughter named Sylvie. Palvin previously debuted the pregnancy at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026, where she discussed anxieties regarding body image and rapid weight gain. She also noted that her history with endometriosis made conception difficult. As the pregnancy progressed, the couple shared glimpses of their daily lives, including a shared interest in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In July, the couple revealed they were expecting a girl during an episode of Sprouse’s ‘Wildmen’ podcast, where he mentioned they had been calling the unborn child ‘principessa’. In preparation for the arrival, they documented a visit to a baby store, and Palvin noted that her morning sickness had become constant. Recently, Palvin shared maternity photographs on social media featuring her growing bump alongside Sprouse and engaged followers by asking for baby name suggestions. One shared sonogram even featured a ‘rock n’ roll’ hand gesture. On September 28, 2026, the couple announced the birth of Sylvie via Instagram. They shared a photograph of the family of three from behind, showing the couple wearing Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys while watching a baseball game. The caption, ‘We took Labor Day literally this year,’ suggests the child was born around the U.S. Labor Day holiday on September 7. Reports indicate Sylvie weighed 3.5 kilograms. Sprouse noted in a podcast that the birth was uncomplicated and that both mother and baby are healthy. He also remarked on the strength of women during the birthing process. On October 8, the couple was photographed on their first outing with Sylvie. Observers noted that Sprouse, 34, and Palvin, 33, appeared to show signs of exhaustion during the stroll, prompting fans to offer sympathy regarding the challenges of sleep deprivation.
