Following the announcement of Season 5, titled ‘Siege of Vegas’, EA and DICE have released a detailed content roadmap outlining three distinct phases for the ~~update.~~ update, affecting both Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC. Phase 1 launches on October 13, 2026, featuring the Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps and the ‘Rapid Royale’ mode. This phase will also include a ‘Dead Space’ crossover event from October 20 to November 7, offering themed cosmetics and environments inspired by the 2023 remake. Phase 2, ‘Casino Heist’, is scheduled for November 10 and will introduce a European Casino map designed for close-quarters combat with destructible environments. This phase will also mark the beginning of the REDSEC Elite Series. Phase 3, ‘Frozen Aces’, begins on December 8. This final phase will introduce new freezing conditions to the Las Vegas maps and a new Operation spanning both the Vegas Strip and Area 51. Additionally, the update will implement Platoons and the highly requested server browser ~~feature is slated to arrive during this third phase,~~ feature, allowing players to bypass random matchmaking to select specific servers and specialized gameplay types.
