Beach tennis events in Brazil have progressed from regional festivals to major international competitions. In late August, the Costa Oeste Beach Tennis Festival was held in Guaíra, attracting approximately 300 athletes, including players ranked in the global Top 20, with the goal of establishing Western Paraná as a sporting hub. By late September, the focus shifted to the Pan-American Beach Tennis Championship held at CT Pantanal in Cuiabá. The tournament features featured athletes from various nations, including Brazil, the United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Canada, and Chile. Brazil enters demonstrated significant dominance at the championship as a dominant force, aiming to defend 13th Pan-American Beach Tennis Championship, winning 14 out of 15 available titles. The Brazilian delegation secured a previous performance total of 43 medals. In the professional divisions, Daniel Mola and Giovanni Cariani are seeking a repeat title, while Julia Nogueira medals across professional, mixed, and Marcela Vita aim for a consecutive championship. youth divisions, spanning from Under-12 to Under-18. In the women’s professional women’s category, world ranking leaders Vitória Marchezini and Sophia Chow are working to reclaim the gold medal. In the youth categories, local athlete João Godoy has advanced to reclaimed their title by defeating Júlia Nogueira and Marcela Vita. Additional successes for the Under-18 final.
